EDUCATOR

In 2024, Nicole began working in the Bergen County Technical School District where the overall goal of the school system is to inspire and engage the workforce of tomorrow. Spending her first year solely at Bergen Tech - Paramus, a vocational high school, Nicole assisted in the Media Production classroom--housing freshmen through senior students focusing on careers in graphic design, television production and film. 

Beginning in Fall 2025, Nicole became a club advisor at Applied Technologies High School in the Bergen County District. Overseeing multiple sessions of the Digital Media Club for sophomores and juniors as well as the ATTalks news program. These courses focus on the skills required for effective digital storytelling.

CERTIFICATIONS

While at Bergen Tech - Paramus, Adobe certifications in Photoshop, Premiere, and Illustrator increased. 

During this time, the Class of 2027 became the first class to achieve a 100% Photoshop Certification rate. 

As of Spring 2026, 95% of certification-eligible Media Production students have at least one certification.

HANDS ON LEARNING

 Nicole organized a field trip to Amazon Prime's Thursday Night Football truck compound at Metlife Stadium. Composed of nine media production students and three adults, the group interacted with industry professionals, gained exposure to live production environments, and experienced a real-world production meeting.

STUDENT FACING

Believing that it is important to be present for the students, Nicole makes time both in and out of the classroom to interact with the student population. Whether photographing BT Football, chaperoning dances, or supporting clubs, she believes that presence is vital to aiding the growth of her students.
